Job Summary:
- The Clinical Liaison acts as a liaison for healthcare providers, supporting the clinical use of implantable contraception for trained clinicians with Nexplanon.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate, schedule, execute, and complete all administrative activities associated with Faculty Advancement Programs, including maintaining required documentation and ensuring timely completion of all mandated paperwork.
- Provide advanced one-on-one Faculty Advancement training for healthcare providers participating as trainers in the Nexplanon Clinical Training Program.
- Support trained clinicians in the clinical use of implantable contraception with Implanon/Nexplanon by demonstrating insertion and removal techniques using placebo models.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the Implanon and Nexplanon Package Inserts and all relevant clinical training materials.
- Manage program logistics, including faculty communications, scheduling, training materials, attendance records, and post-program follow-up activities.
- Serve as a liaison between healthcare providers and internal stakeholders, ensuring effective communication while adhering to company policies and applicable FDA and local health authority requirements.
- Ensure all Faculty Advancement Programs are conducted in compliance with company policies, Global Standards of Business Practice, and all applicable government and industry regulations.
- Track program completion, maintain accurate records, and support reporting requirements related to Faculty Advancement activities.
- Demonstrate a customer-focused approach in all interactions with healthcare providers, faculty members, and internal partners.
Education / Certificates:
- Licensed Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN), Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM), Physician Assistant (PA), or Physician (MD/DO).
Experience:
- 5+ years of Women’s health clinical practice with direct patient care responsibilities.
Competencies:
- Strong customer focus,
- Demonstrated experience providing contraceptive counseling, prescribing, and/or managing contraceptive care.
- Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated effective organizational skills, including ability to set goals and align priorities.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and networking skills.
- Thorough understanding of ethical guidelines, laws, and regulations relevant to the biopharmaceutical industry, including pharmacovigilance requirements.
- Ability to organize, prioritize and work effectively in a constantly changing environment.
