Job Description

Job Summary:

  • The Clinical Liaison acts as a liaison for healthcare providers, supporting the clinical use of implantable contraception for trained clinicians with Nexplanon.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate, schedule, execute, and complete all administrative activities associated with Faculty Advancement Programs, including maintaining required documentation and ensuring timely completion of all mandated paperwork.
  • Provide advanced one-on-one Faculty Advancement training for healthcare providers participating as trainers in the Nexplanon Clinical Training Program.
  • Support trained clinicians in the clinical use of implantable contraception with Implanon/Nexplanon by demonstrating insertion and removal techniques using placebo models.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the Implanon and Nexplanon Package Inserts and all relevant clinical training materials.
  • Manage program logistics, including faculty communications, scheduling, training materials, attendance records, and post-program follow-up activities.
  • Serve as a liaison between healthcare providers and internal stakeholders, ensuring effective communication while adhering to company policies and applicable FDA and local health authority requirements.
  • Ensure all Faculty Advancement Programs are conducted in compliance with company policies, Global Standards of Business Practice, and all applicable government and industry regulations.
  • Track program completion, maintain accurate records, and support reporting requirements related to Faculty Advancement activities.
  • Demonstrate a customer-focused approach in all interactions with healthcare providers, faculty members, and internal partners.

Education / Certificates:

  • Licensed Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN), Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM), Physician Assistant (PA), or Physician (MD/DO).

Experience:

  • 5+ years of Women’s health clinical practice with direct patient care responsibilities.

Competencies:

  • Strong customer focus,
  • Demonstrated experience providing contraceptive counseling, prescribing, and/or managing contraceptive care.
  • Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated effective organizational skills, including ability to set goals and align priorities.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and networking skills.
  • Thorough understanding of ethical guidelines, laws, and regulations relevant to the biopharmaceutical industry, including pharmacovigilance requirements.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and work effectively in a constantly changing environment.
