QC Scientist I

Job Description

Required Skills & Experience:

• 2 years minimum experience in quality control laboratory environment, preferably in biotech/pharma industry preferred.
• Preferred Fields of Study: Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Molecular Biology or related scientific field.
• Strong knowledge of cGMP, GLP, and quality management systems.
• Proficiency in analytical techniques such as HPLC, ICP-MS, UV-Vis spectroscopy, flow cytometer, NMR, Absorption, Organic Chemistry, and dissolution testing.
• Experience with microbiological testing methods and aseptic techniques.
• Ability to follow SOPs and maintain detailed documentation per GDP requirements.
• Strong computer skills including LIMS, Microsoft Office, and analytical software.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with laboratory equipment maintenance and calibration.
• Knowledge of relevant pharmacopeia standards and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Flexible scheduling may be required.
• Physical ability to perform laboratory work including PPE usage.
