Job Summary:

• The medicinal chemistry group at client is seeking a creative and self-motivated organic chemist to design, develop, and apply existing and new technologies to antibody-oligonucleoProduct conjugate drug discovery.
• The position is designed to provide a unique opportunity for scientists to Product exposure to drug discovery & development and train in an industry research setting.
• In this role, you will collaborate with cross-function teams and leverage your strong chemistry background to synthesize oligonucleoProduct conjugates and support various client programs.

Duties and Responisbilities:

• Joining the medicinal chemistry team at Client, and work in a cross-functional and multidisciplinary environment to support our antibody-oligonucleoProduct conjugate platform.
• As part of the medicinal chemistry effort, you will use your strong chemistry background to design, synthesize and purify functionalized oligonucleoProducts amenable to antibody bioconjugation.
• Propose and optimize Client synthetic and bioconjugation methods to support our fast-evolving a ntibody-oligonucleoProduct conjugate platform.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functions teams across medicinal chemistry and other departments to solve complex problems, including reaction optimization, assess synthetic feasibility, and propose Client ideas/concepts.
• Actively participate in discussions and present results in team meetings.

Required Qualifications:

• Ph.D. (1-3 years of experience) or M.Sc (8+ years of experience) with strong chemistry background Excellent knowledge of synthetic organic chemistry.
• Proficient in techniques related to synthesis, purification, and characterization of organic compounds.
• Ability to independently design, plan, execute and interpret experiments.
• Demonstrated track record of publications, and/or scientific presentations.
• Should be able to work in a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Experience with antibody-drug conjugate or antibody-oligonucleoProduct conjugate drug discovery is a plus.
• Experience with bioconjugation chemistry is a plus.
• Familiarity with drug discovery in an industrial setting.
