Laboratory Analyst I

Job Description

Job Summary:

• Perform and report results of sample testing as assigned in Quality Control Physic Chemistry.
• Performance of assays including but limited to pH, moisture testing, wet chemical tests (UV Vis), and HPLC.
• Perform lab support functions.
• Maintain records and test results following relevant quality standards.
• Document work clearly and perform testes accurately.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform routine laboratory testing and sample analysis
• Conduct assays including: pH testing
• Moisture testing
• Wet chemical testing (UV-Vis)
• HPLC analysis
• Support environmental monitoring activities within the laboratory
• Maintain accurate laboratory records and documentation
• Follow quality standards, SOPs, and laboratory safety procedures
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional laboratory teams
• Ensure testing is completed accurately and within required timelines

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required; preference for candidates with a degree in Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, or other Science-related field.
• Minimum 4 years of academic laboratory experience.
• Hands-on laboratory experience required.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a regulated laboratory environment.

Preferred Background:

• Recent college graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Candidates with experience or interest in: Quality Control.
• Laboratory Technician roles.
• Environmental monitoring.
• Microbiology laboratories.
• Experience working in microbiology and/or quality control laboratory settings preferred.
• 3–5 years of relevant laboratory and/or academic experience preferred.

Experience Required:

• Entry-level candidates with strong academic lab experience will be considered.
