Job Description

Job Summary:

  • We are currently seeking a Quality Control (QC) Lab Technician with exceptional work behaviors to join our team at the company in Cincinnati.
  • The QC Laboratory Technician is responsible for supporting routine laboratory testing to facilitate the release of raw materials, in-process samples, finished products, and stability samples.
  • The QC Lab Technician conducts all work in accordance with approved procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and applicable regulatory requirements while ensuring data integrity and laboratory compliance.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepares solutions for chemical & physical testing on raw materials, in-process, finished product, and stability samples to ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
  • Accurately document laboratory activities, test results, and observations in laboratory notebooks.
  • Operate, calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation, including balances, pH meters, and other analytical equipment as applicable.
  • Maintain laboratory cleanliness and organization in accordance with GMP requirements.
  • Assist with inventory management of laboratory supplies, chemicals, standards, and reagents.
  • Follow all safety procedures, environmental requirements, and company policies.
  • Support internal and external audits and regulatory inspections as needed.
  • Performs all duties in strict compliance with Standard Operating Procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices, Good Laboratory Practices, and Safety guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline.
  • 0-1 year of laboratory experience good to have.
  • Experience working in a GMP-regulated environment preferred.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to perform flawless work.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong motivation to excel and a desire for continuous growth.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods while performing laboratory work.
  • Ability to lift and carry laboratory supplies up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
