Laboratory Technician

Job Description

Job Summary:

• We have an immediate opportunity for a Creation Laboratory Technician in our NYC Facility.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Compound Fragrance Oils for perfumers, Fragrance Development Managers and other laboratories while adhering to delivery due dates and applying good laboratory practices.
• Keeps collection of raw materials up to date while adhering to quality parameters.
• Requires excellent communication skills to foster a healthy collaboration between team members and requestors.
• Strong computer skills required to compound, check availability of raw material, post batches, review inventory and print labels.
• Adhere to and comply with all Laboratory Safety Protocols.

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• BS in either Chemistry or any kind of science field (Will offer some training in the role).

Knowledge, Skills, and Knowledge:

• Knowledge of Fragrance Oil Compounding.
• Organized.
• Pays attention to detail.
• Good laboratory skills.

Interview Process:

• In person Interview, one round.
