QC Lab Technician

Job Description

Job Summary:

• We are seeking an experienced, dedicated Quality Control Laboratory Technician to join our team.
• In this position, you will maintain quality standards by approving incoming materials, finished products, and recording the results.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills are a must, as well as a keen attention to detail.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and non-routine laboratory activities including testing of incoming material and finished products for specifications and sensory evaluation.
• Approve/reject the product within the time stipulated.
• Identify and troubleshoot common problems/issues encountered.
• Keep daily record and appropriate documentation on all laboratory work performed.
• Independently operate standard equipment/procedures to the required level.
• Assure compliance of SHE procedure and proactively contribute to the improvement of lab safety.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma Required.
• Degree in Chemistry with at least 1 year of relevant working experience.
• Experience in odor/sensory evaluation, Detail oriented, History or Experience in fragrance industry.
• Experience with SAP is a plus.
• Experience in handling GC & GCMS is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to work independently as well as within a multi-cultural team.
• Must be willing to work overtime when required.
• Must have the ability to stand long periods of times.
