Lab Technician I

Job Description

Job Summary:

• The Technician I is responsible for completing all daily and weekly decons of equipment, end of shift and ancillary tasks.
• This position is also responsible for labeling and hand capping tubes and completing safety/QA audits on the floor.
• This position reports to the Value Stream supervisor and is part of the Standard Desalt Value Stream located in RTP, North Carolina and will be an on-site role.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform lab cleaning and decontamination protocols in accordance with work instructions and sign off completion of tasks in company software programs.
• Package product as customer demand requires.
• Supply the production line with necessary materials to ensure smooth process flow.
• Complete safety/QA audits as scheduled.

Essential Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED.
• Proficiency in a variety of PC software programs with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Offices Suite

Previous Experience:

• Previous laboratory and chemical handling experience..
