Histology Associate

Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare tissue samples for microscopic examination.
• Operate and maintain histology laboratory equipment.
• Ensure quality control and compliance with laboratory standards.
• Assist pathologists with specimen analysis and embedding tissue’s while standing throughout the working hours.
• Follow safety protocols and regulatory guidelines.

Required Qualifications:

• 0–5 years of experience.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication abilities.
• Knowledge of industry best practices.
• Well suited candidates are quick learners and self-starters.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Histotechnician or Histotechnologist certification.
• Previous lab experience preferred.
• Certification in histotechnology preferred.

Interview: Virtual – one round – 30 mins duration.
