Job Summary:
- Client’s Biomedicine Design organization is seeking a highly motivated Bench Scientist I to join the Molecular Profiling team in Cambridge, MA.

- The successful candidate will support laboratory operations and bioconjugation activities while working closely with experienced scientists on a variety of protein- and cell-based projects.
- This role is ideal for individuals who are energetic, detail-oriented, quick learners, and eager to grow their scientific skills within a collaborative research setting.
- While experience in bioconjugation or analytical characterization techniques is advantageous, the hiring team is primarily seeking candidates with strong laboratory fundamentals, the ability to learn quickly, and a genuine enthusiasm for scientific research.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform routine laboratory activities in support of molecular profiling and bioconjugation projects.
- Handle, prepare, and work with proteins, biological samples, and cell culture materials.
- Prepare solutions, buffers, and reagents following established protocols.
- Execute experimental procedures with accuracy and attention to detail, including pipetting and sample preparation.
- Support bioconjugation workflows under the guidance of senior scientists.
- Receive, organize, track, and maintain laboratory materials, compounds, and inventory.
- Assist with sample allocation, shipping, and general laboratory logistics.
- Maintain accurate experimental records using electronic laboratory notebooks (ELNs).
- Analyze, summarize, and communicate experimental data through reports and presentations.
- Follow laboratory safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional team members to support project goals.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in: Biochemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Chemical Biology, Biomedical Sciences Or a related scientific discipline.
- Hands-on laboratory experience Producted through academic research, internships, industry, or other research environments.
- Experience handling proteins, biological samples, cell cultures, or related laboratory materials.
- Knowledge of fundamental laboratory techniques and scientific principles.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to learn new techniques quickly and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
