Job Summary:
- Industrial Operations at Client’s site, the largest vaccine manufacturing facility in the US, continues to develop its manufacturing assets to produce existing and new vaccines and biopharmaceuticals.
Manager Notes:
- Open to candidate early in career/ (academic lab experience accepted)
- Manager will consider candidates willing to relocate at their own expense.
- Team of 8 individuals working together.
- Role works directly with Work with Animal products & Eggs products, noted in case of chickens or egg allergy.
Must have:
- MS Office Suite
- Min of 1-3 years of experience (max experience 3 years, over this would be considered over qualified)
- Must have lab experience displayed on resume
Nice Have:
- Running hemagglutination testing, SDS-PAGE.
Accountabilities:
- Execution of small scale experiments, working with eggs and flu virus.
- Support and assist production of high growing flu virus reassortants, flu reference antigen, and antisera.
- Running hemagglutination testing, SDS-PAGE, chromatography, and PCR.
- Ordering and maintaining supplies and materials and shipping materials as needed.
- Working with outside vendors as needed.
- Shipping biological samples for sequencing.
- Writing internal development protocols and reports related to project.
- Sample management between labs, manufacturing buildings, and analytical sciences department.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required; science/biology field preferred.
- 1+ years of laboratory experience (academic lab experience accepted).
- Experience working with viruses is a plus.
