Job Description
Job Summary:
- A Product Engineer within the Filtration Research and Development department will assist in the design, development, and testing of Client filtration products/technologies suitable for the manufacture of therapeutic biopharmaceuticals.
- In this role as an entry-level product development engineer, you will contribute to technology and product development projects to deliver advanced filtration and solid/liquid separation technologies intended for a wide range of bioprocessing applications.
Solid scientific and Engineering principles to:
- Assist with the development and testing of filtration products in a collaborative environment.
- Leverage personal and institutional knowledge to achieve project goals and timelines.
- Perform hands-on testing and troubleshooting filtration components.
- Support engineering projects through data analysis, documentation, and reporting.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering (Master’s degree may be overqualified).
- Junior level / Entry-level; “Green Grads” (recent graduates) are highly encouraged.
Required Skills:
- Basic chemistry or biochemical lab skills;
- Data processing software (Microsoft Office, Minitab).
Preferred Skills:
- Filtration experience;
- Bioreactor/cell culture experience;
- Chemical reactions and synthesis;
- Simulation software.
