Laboratory Technician I

Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Compound Fragrance Oils for perfumers, Fragrance Development Managers and other laboratories while adhering to delivery due dates and applying good laboratory practices.
• Keeps collection of raw materials up to date while adhering to quality parameters.
• Requires excellent communication skills to foster a healthy collaboration between team members and requestors.
• Stong computer skills required to compound, check availability of raw material, post batches, review inventory and print labels.
• Adhere to and comply with all Laboratory Safety Protocols.

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• BS in either Chemistry or any kind of science field.

Requirements:

• Organized.
• Pays attention to detail.
• Good laboratory skills
• Knowledge of Fragrance Oil Compounding.
