Manufacturing Calibration Test Technician

Job Summary:

• The Manufacturing Calibration Test Technician is responsible for calibrating, testing, and shipping client’s Echo systems.
• This position reports to the Manufacturing Supervisor and is part of the Production Team located in San Jose, CA and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Follow established procedures to calibrate, test, and prepare instruments for shipping
• Provide the first line of troubleshooting for diagnosing problems
• Contribute to group problem solving and process improvement activities
• Perform parts assembly to support the calibration and MFG purpose.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Minimum 3-5 years relevant experience in a technical or manufacturing position.
• Pay attention to details; Be proactive and self-initiation; Willing to help other team members.
• BS degree in a technical field or comparable long-standing work experience.
• Effective and analytical problem-solving skills, including basic understanding of statistical methods, techniques, formulas, and tests.
• It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: Prior work experience with calibration, automation, centrifuges, plate readers, etc.
• Familiarity with chemistry and liquid handling equipment (Agilent, Hamilton)
• Efficient on Computer Microsoft or LibreOffice.
