Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform testing on intermediates, final product and water.
- Support all non-routine testing such as validations and any other required studies.
- Document results clearly and accurately. Interpret results by comparing a Product appropriate specifications and/or requirements.
- Perform environmental monitoring (viable and non-viable).
- Perform bioburden, endotoxin and growth promotion tests
- Knowledge on microbiological testing, principles, theories, practices and methodology to align with current procedures and Pharmacopoeias.
- Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment and maintain supplies inventory levels.
- Maintains current knowledge of quality guidelines and regulations (GxP).
- Participate in laboratory investigations, technology transfer, validations and R&D projects.
Requirements:
- B.S. / B.A. degree or equivalent in Biology, Microbiology, Life Science or related field is required.
- Minimum 0-2 years of laboratory experience in a regulated environment is required.
- Experience with microbiological testing.
- Knowledge of quality guidelines, standards and regulations (GxP).
- Good verbal and written communication skills required
- Experience working in a regulated environment preferred.
