Job Summary:
- The R&D Technical Specialist will provide critical support to the Research & Development team by preparing, revising, and maintaining technical documentation in compliance with internal quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- This individual will play an essential role in ensuring the accuracy, clarity, and consistency of technical materials while assisting with administrative and documentation processes across multiple systems.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and revise technical documents, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), specifications, technical reports, and other controlled documentation.
- Ensure all technical documentation complies with internal quality and regulatory requirements.
- Manage document workflows using Documentum or equivalent document control systems.
- Support data entry, tracking, and reporting activities within SAP.
- Perform administrative duties as needed to support R&D operations, including record keeping, file management, and coordination of document reviews and approvals.
- Collaborate with scientists, engineers, and quality assurance personnel to obtain, verify, and consolidate technical information.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of document templates, processes, and version control procedures.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a scientific, technical, or related field preferred.
- Strong technical writing and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; experience with Documentum and SAP preferred.
- Previous technical writing or documentation experience in a scientific or manufacturing environment is a plus.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
