Job Description
Job Summary:
- This position is responsible for effectively coordinating documentation and samples received in the Quality Control laboratory in accordance with SOPs.
Responsibilities:
- Data entry and filing of laboratory documentation.
- Request, maintain and return of logbooks used in the Quality Control Sample Management.
- Perform sample receipt and sample disposal in the Quality Control laboratory.
- Coordinate distribution of samples to other laboratories.
- Order laboratory supplies.
- Manage laboratory reserve samples.
- Clean and store laboratory glassware.
- Effectively demonstrates an understanding of CGMPs and how it applies to specific responsibilities
- Follow accurate oral and written procedures for maintenance of laboratory systems, documentation, and samples.
- Ensure laboratory data and samples are effectively maintained.
- Update laboratory database and tracks the completion of various functions required by the Quality Control laboratory.
- Work independently under general supervision and direction.
- Work in compliance with CGMP’s.
- Practice safe work habits and adhere to safety procedures and guidelines.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Demonstrated ability in the application of the requisite skills to perform the required tasks of the position.
- Receives general instructions on routine assignments under general supervision.
- Receives detailed instructions on new work, which may be closely supervised and reviewed.

Must haves:
- High school diploma.
- Experience in Microsoft Suite.
- Detail-oriented individual.
Nice to haves:
- Prior experience GMP at least 1 year preferable bachelor’s in science (microbiology, chemistry).
- Laboratory background.
