Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform routine lab assays with established protocols.
- Conduct 100% bench work and report data into the lab’s tracking system.
- Work closely with senior scientists for program-related assays.
- Escalate issues or deviations—candidate does not need to troubleshoot independently but must communicate effectively.
Required & Preferred Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s in Life required (biology, biochemistry, protein science preferred).
- Master’s not preferred.
Experience:
- 0–1 year (entry level).
- Academic research experience is acceptable; industry experience is a plus but not required.
Key Skills:
- Micro pipetting (top skill).
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Analytical mindset.
- Basic understanding of HPLC, chromatography, or handling large-molecule biologics preferred.
- Strong willingness to learn and adapt.
- They do NOT need to hit the ground running.
- Training Timeline.
- Expectation: Candidate should be trained and independently running most assays within 1–2 months.
Interview Process:
- Step 1: Phone screen with top candidates.
- Step 2: Onsite interview with 2–3 finalists (short, not full-day).
- Final decision made based on onsite impressions.
