Analytical Chemistry Development Scientist I

Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide technical skill, analytical testing, test method development, and engineering support for various medical device products.
• Thermochemical analysis work using instruments in the lab.
• In vitro blood and blood simulant testing and test method development.
• Coordinate and support maintenance activities of lab as required.
• Perform other miscellaneous duties as directed by Supervisor or as required to support the business.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant major: Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Materials Science, or similar.
• Experience / understanding of working in a lab.
• Lab work experience a strong plus.
• Ability to write detailed technical protocols and reports a strong plus.
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong ability to learn.
