Job Description
Job Summary:
- The Specialty Chemical data steward is responsible for obtaining raw material disclosures from raw material manufacturers including raw materials that contain botanical/natural substances and polymers.
- This applies to any EPASS (Enovia -> PASS, aka R&D request to GPS) tasks or assessments assigned to them.
- Upon receipt of all information required by Client GPS, a SRI will be built and released in the PASS system.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- SCDS will consult with Client GPS and FiD B3 as needed to help determine data sufficiency.
- SCDS will also be responsible for the DS Assessment on all A3/A4 NRQs that are assigned to them.
- To execute products the Corporate Functions (CF) Global Product Stewardship (GPS) Botanical/Natural Substance FiD (Foundational iData) work process including but not limited to the required data elements, work process, and GPS connections, CF and OUs (operational units).
- To execute products the polymer FiD work process including but not limited to the required data elements, work process, and GPS connections both in CF and OUs.
- Also may create PNs.
Education:
- Bachelors Degree > Bachelor of Chemistry > Bachelor of Chemistry Botany/Zoology.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Technical understanding of Raw Material Information forms.
- Expertise in chemistry, polymer data and botanicals data requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Leadership skills to conduct daily meeting, capture status and guide next steps.
- Confidence to escalate issues to management.
- Expert knowledge of Enovia and SRI tool for raw material searching.
