Research Technician

Job Description

Job Summary:

• Entry level for employees who develop proficiency in R&D Procedural work and expertise in Application work by combining hands-on experimentation with scientific principles and knowledge from science/engineering education to drive foundational technical understanding and solve technical problems.
• Delivers technical outputs which address critical innovation challenges and completion of key milestones.
• Set up, operate, and maintain the lab equipment.
• They test, monitor, and keep detailed logs of the experiments

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for submitting submissions for physical laboratory tests.
• In addition to submitting the request, they will be responsible for completing all necessary documentation (preparing samples, labeling, product traceability, sample traceability) and dropping off samples.
• Responsible for executing demo development replications.
• This will include them needing to be in the lab and conducting set protocol for various demos.

Requirements:

• Technical Skills.
• Able to life up to 20lbs.
• Able to walk to and from different parts of the building.

• Experience using different computer systems (Microsoft based programs).
