Job Description

Core essential skill sets candidates must have to be considered for the role:

  • BS or higher in science related discipline, chemistry is preferred.
  • Lab experience.
  • Recent College graduates welcome.

Technical Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Loading/unloading scientific glassware in dishwasher according to written procedures.
  • Handwashing glassware.
  • Inspection of glassware following cleaning to ensure it is safe ready for use.
  • Change out pipet soakers on a weekly basis.
  • Receive incoming samples.
  • Perform inspection of house cleaning checklist weekly.
  • Monitor and implement safety procedures as part of lab safety committee.
  • Perform routine and non-routine physical and chemical testing of commercial, validation and stability samples in accordance to written methodology.
  • Analyze data aProductst approved specifications, notifying management of any OOS and aberrant results.
  • Actively participate in root cause problem solving during laboratory investigations, provide input for effective corrective and preventive actions.
  • Perform routine maintenance on lab equipment as needed.
  • Monitoring chemical and dry stock inventory.
  • Assist with ordering chemicals/materials.

Compliance and Quality:

  • Basic knowledge and understanding of USP, cGMP, and FDA regulations.
  • Create and maintain lab record documentation (notebooks and computer based) according to GMPs.
  • Demonstrate the philosophy of Right First Time.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment and follow safety procedures and policies.
