Laboratory Technician I

Job Description

Job Summary:

• The Lab Technician I will be the laboratory support for the assay development R&D Labs.
• Glassware washing and laboratory support is an essential function for the Tarrytown Site.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Glassware washing:

• Collecting dirty glassware from the labs.
• Operating and maintaining the glassware washers.
• Stocking the labs with cleaned glassware.
• Keeping the glassware washing room neat and tidy.

2. Lab Support:

• Log books for Water systems.
• Satellite waste checking.
• Replacement of biohazard waste bins in labs.
• Clean up lab benches and shelving.
• Lab Cleanliness.
• Lab walkthroughs to escalate issues as needed.
