Job Summary:

  • We’re looking for a detail-oriented and curious scientist to support our protein mass spectrometry lab.
  • You’ll play a key role in preparing biological samples and developing analytical methods that drive impactful research.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare biological samples (cells, tissues, plasma) for LC-MS analysis.
  • Perform protein lysis, immunoprecipitation, digestion, filtration, and concentration.
  • Design and execute experiments in collaboration with scientists.
  • Develop and optimize analytical methods.
  • Analyze, interpret, and document results in electronic lab notebooks.
  • Present findings and contribute to team discussions.
  • Maintain high standards of lab safety and data integrity.

Education and Experience:

  • BS in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field + 3–5 years of experience.
  • MS + 1–3 years of experience.
  • This role is not open to fresh graduates or PhD holders.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong experience with LC-MS sample preparation workflows.
  • Familiarity with proteomics and immunoanalytical techniques.
  • Exposure to Parallel Reaction Monitoring (PRM) is a plus.
  • Comfortable operating lab equipment and following complex protocols.
  • Excellent data organization and communication skills.
