Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Designs, conducts and interprets biological experiments to support development programs and identifies biological pathways and agent.
- Provides biological scientific support to technology and product development.
- Reviews scientific and technical summaries, and provides recommendations for potential business applications.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology, Medical Technology, Biology, Chemistry or related field of study and minimum 3-yrs experience or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Generally requires (2-4) years related experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Manual dexterity to handle instruments, repetitive motions and standing for long periods of time.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and challenges at the same time
- Work independently and within a team environment.
- Knowledge of Immunohematology theory and practice
- Familiarity with FDA, OSHA, ISO, cGMP
