Job Summary:
- The purpose of this position is to provide technical expertise in pharmaceutical microbiology, ensuring quality control and assurance across operational departments involved in the manufacture of pharmaceutical products.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform routine environmental and systems monitoring of manufacturing and laboratory areas.
- Conduct laboratory experiments in compliance with approved SOPs and determine appropriate actions based on results.
- Follow established policies and assist in the development of new procedures and documentation.
- Maintain accurate and complete records of experiments, results, and calculations.
- Assist in data interpretation and ensure precise experimentation with complete documentation.
- Prepare and organize data for reports and presentations.
- Stay up to date with technical knowledge and scientific advancements relevant to assigned responsibilities.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology or other Life Sciences from an accredited institution, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Practical experience in pharmaceutical microbiology and quality control.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets, and data graphics software.
- Ability to qualify and maintain Class 100 gowning status.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities independently.
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills in English.
- Ability to accurately read, interpret, and follow standard operating procedures.
- Skilled in utilizing scientific information resources effectively.
