Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Documentation Best Practices:
- Ensure compliance with Documentation Best Practices, maintaining accurate and thorough records.
- Ability to record data manually on data collection forms and input data using a computer.
- Keeps organized, accurate and detailed records of test performed.
2. Laboratory Best Practices:
- Adhere to Good Laboratory Best Practices and safety procedures to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
3. Chemical Handling:
- Ability to handle chemicals and cleaners while following all safety protocols and wearing the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to ensure safety e.g. lab coat, gloves, protective eyewear.
- Training will be provided on safe handling procedures and the use of PPE.
4. Protocol/Training Understanding:
- Understand and follow established protocols/trainings accurately. Ability to recognize deviations from test methods/expected results.
5. Communication:
- Communicate any observations or anomalies found during testing promptly and clearly. Monitor test progress and keeps requestor informed.
6. Collaboration and Adaptability:
- Collaborate effectively with team members and adapt to changes in protocols or procedures as needed.
Education and Skills:
- Requires a High School diploma.
- Identifies need for escalation to supervisor and test owner.
- Exhibit strong attention to detail, patience, and the ability to handle repetitive tasks.
- Effective verbal, written, listening, and reading skills in English.
