Job Description

Job Summary:

• Supports Early Solutions research at by performing basic laboratory activities within the Structural Biology group with supervision

Responsibilities:

• Develops solid grasp of standard structural biology lab techniques.
• Learns skillsets in research area (e.g. operation of X-ray generator or specialized instruments for collection of biophysical data) and retains skillsets for long-term development.
• Performs experiments alongside a more experienced user and/or under supervision.
• Supports presentation of lab data by senior staff.
• Supports general lab maintenance and operation alongside more experienced users.
• Adheres to standards of documentation and record keeping for experiments.
• Collateral duties may be assigned in discussion with the manager.
• Additional activities may include tasks or projects that support corporate objectives, contribute to project teams, or increase operational agility within the structure biology team.
• Looking for a candidate with a BS and 0-3 years of experience.
• Basic biochemistry lab skills are required: pipetting, lab note booking, use of micro Products, centrifuges and balances.
• We will train on all specialized lab processes.
• Inventory management experience is a plus.
