Job Description

Role Summary:

  • Research-based technical development role supporting projects across the North America Zone Taste Elevation business.
  • Contribute to technical projects aligned with business initiatives focused on innovation and renovation.
  • Apply scientific principles and prior learning to new situations.
  • Manage multiple assignments simultaneously with minimal guidance.
  • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exhibit a collaborative mindset and provide creative solutions.

Key Components:

  • Conduct analytical measurements of products and/or packaging in a laboratory environment using various equipment.
  • Accurately record, transpose, and analyze data.
  • Support development and commercialization of new and improved products.
  • Manage laboratory ingredient inventory, sanitation, and sample shipping/receiving.
  • Assist Food Scientists with lab and pilot plant experiments.
  • Pre-weigh ingredients.
  • Support processing and packing of formulas.
  • Handle labeling and case-packing.

Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and critical thinking ability.
  • Self-starter with a strong willingness to learn.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently and seek guidance when needed.
  • Familiarity with MS365 tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Teams).
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in STEM field (Chemistry, Microbiology, or related)

Preferred:

  • Food, Dairy, Meat Science, or Food/Chemical Engineering.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Capability to lift up to 40 pounds repeatedly.
