Job Description
Job Summary:
- The Laboratory Technician will perform chemical and physical laboratory tests to support scientists in qualitative and quantitative analysis of solids, liquids, and gases.
- The role contributes to research & development, quality control, environmental standards, and other scientific applications.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct laboratory tests and experiments following standard procedures.
- Analyze samples (blood, tissue, toxic substances, etc.).
- Record and report accurate test results to the laboratory manager.
- Interpret findings and support scientific analysis.
- Maintain and handle sensitive laboratory equipment.
- Organize and store chemicals, substances, and gases as per safety guidelines.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and maintain a clean lab environment.
- Assist in optimizing lab procedures for reliable and efficient results.
- Maintain documentation (paper & electronic) with high accuracy.
- Support inventory management and ordering of lab supplies.
Education & Qualifications:
- Degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related discipline OR equivalent work experience.
- Knowledge of laboratory techniques, equipment, and materials.
- Ability to perform statistical analysis and prepare reports.
Required Skills (Must Have):
- Strong English communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office 365.
- Good communication and coordination abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills.
- Ability to learn new tools for data extraction and reporting (training provided).
- Critical thinking and deductive reasoning skills.
- Decent computer proficiency.
