Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure operation of custom automated laboratory equipment by completing preventative and corrective maintenance in accordance with client’s quality policy.
  • Troubleshoots mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, fluidic, and optical devices/systems, as well as PLC controlled systems.
  • Practices safe working habits, follows all client safety policies, identifies, corrects, and reports potential safety hazards.

Essential Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Proficiency in a variety of PC software programs with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge and use of a variety of hand tools.

Experience:

  • Reading and interpreting blue prints and equipment schematics.
  • Previous laboratory and chemical handling experience.
