Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Ensure operation of custom automated laboratory equipment by completing preventative and corrective maintenance in accordance with client’s quality policy.
- Troubleshoots mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, fluidic, and optical devices/systems, as well as PLC controlled systems.
- Practices safe working habits, follows all client safety policies, identifies, corrects, and reports potential safety hazards.
Essential Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED.
- Proficiency in a variety of PC software programs with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge and use of a variety of hand tools.
Experience:
- Reading and interpreting blue prints and equipment schematics.
- Previous laboratory and chemical handling experience.
