Job Description
Job Summary:
- The Global Manufacturing Sciences team plays a key role in supporting activities to qualify applicable changes for implementation to the manufacturing processes which occur at the cell therapy GMP manufacturing facility.
- The primary focus of this role will be processing apheresis to generate cellular products and intermediates in support of Global Manufacturing Sciences groups within the Cell Therapy Technical Operations organization.
- Laboratory work will occur following sound laboratory practices in a non-GMP setting.
- The position will require experimental execution, documentation, data analysis, drafting of technical reports, and presentation of results.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment is required.
- Occasional evening and weekend work may be required.
- Experience culturing mammalian cells is strongly preferred.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- Associate Degree in Biology, Chemical Engineering, Bioengineering or relevant scientific discipline with 0-2 years of industry bioprocess experience.
Preferred skills:
- Mammalian cell culture and cell banking.
- Experience with cell therapy process development or manufacturing.
- Buffer and cell culture media preparation.
- Excellent record keeping and documentation skills.
- Proficient use of MS Office products.
- Ability to meet deadlines, adapt to rapid changes, and work in a fast-paced team environment.
- Strong prioritization skills.
