Job Description

Job Summary:

• Client is seeking a highly motivated Scientist I or Scientist II to join the Non-Viral Gene Therapy (NVGT) Team.
• The successful candidate will have hands-on experience in antibody and protein engineering, with a focus on bioconjugation chemistry.
• The candidate will work closely with the LNP formulation team to achieve extrahepatic delivery of LNPs.

Responsibilities:

• Execute protein conjugation reactions for both screening efforts and developability to enable nanoparticle targeting to specific cells and/or tissues.
• Perform downstream analytical assays such as SDS-PAGE, SEC-HPLC, RP-HPLC, BLI, DSF, CE-SDS and/or flow-cytometry.
• Perform incorporation of targeting antibody into LNPs and execute associated analytical assays, including DLS, zeta potential, nucleic acid content, endotoxin
• Design protein and antibody molecules at the primary sequence level
• Support management of CRO for molecule production
